USDA has allowed schools to operate under the Seamless Summer Option, which permits schools to serve meals at no cost to all children ages 18 and under, through December 31, 2020. The School District of Newberry County implemented this option September 8. USDA has made the waiver retroactive to September 1. The Office of Child Nutrition has completed making adjustments to all student accounts that were charged for meals September 1-4.
Effective immediately, pre-order forms are no longer needed to track meal orders. This applies to Hybrid and Virtual Learners.
